What documentation do I need to provide?
All drivers must be present on collection of the vehicle and must bring with them:

• Their photo card driving licence. (If the driving licence is a non-photo card, paper licence we also require a valid passport.)
• Recent proof of address, e.g. utility bill or bank statement. (This must be dated within the last three months.)
• Their driving licence CHECK CODE which can be retrieved from https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence. This code is used by us to check your licence for any points or convictions.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes a deposit is charged on collection of the vehicle. This must be paid by bank transfer.

The deposit is refunded (less any additional charges for fuel etc.) once the vehicle has been returned, re-fuelled and inspected. The deposit may take 2-3 working days to clear your account depending on your bank.

What’s included in the daily hire cost?
Everything except the deposit. It includes fully comprehensive insurance for one driver, breakdown cover & unlimited mileage

Am I liable for any insurance excess?
Yes. In the event of any damage or theft claim on the vehicle or any third party claim made against our insurance policy. The insurance excess is £1000. The hirer remains responsible for punctures and negligent damage (e.g. kerbed wheels or tyres, damage to upholstery, cigarette burns, damage to aerials and mirrors etc.) The hirer is responsible for any mechanical repairs caused by failure to heed warning lights and gauges. Damage to any vehicle above windscreen height is the full responsibility of the hirer.

I have claims and/or convictions on my licence can I still hire a vehicle?
It depends on the number of points and the number of offences.
If you have any bans or disqualifications this will need to be referred to our insurers.
If you have more than one fault/ claim in the last 3 years this will need to be referred to our insurers.

What’s the minimum/ maximum hire age and do I need to have driving experience?
Drivers must be 25-79 years of age.

Drivers are required to have held a full Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years and have a clean driving record although endorsed licences may be accepted and additional insurance costs/ deposits may apply.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
If you wish to cancel your booking within 48 hours of your rental, you will incur a cancellation charge. If you cancel within 24 hours you will be charged for a full day’s rental, within 24 hours – 48 hours you will be charged £20. If we received no notification of cancellation, one days rental cost will apply.
